The SoBo & Super SoBo Specials are available during SoBo season and are only for hikers utilizing the CYR bus to Medway. If you are arriving by any other method than the Cyr bus to Medway, you do not qualify for the Specials, please select "No Thanks." Information about our SouthBound Specials can be found on our Southbound AT Hikers page. We still offer these services in August & September, just not at a discounted "special" rate. August - October: Medway $6-24, accommodations $35-80, Baxter shuttle $20-80, no breakfast or workshop included.

Southbound Workshop *

May 31 - July 31: Workshop offered daily. The workshop is included (free) in the Super SoBo Special. If you are not on the Special, the price is based on the number of people participating that day: $45 for 1, $22.50 each for 2, $15 per person starting at 3. August 1 - September 30: The workshop is available as time in our schedule permits. It is not guaranteed every day.

Baxter State Park Pass *

Either a campsite reservation or a day-use-parking-reservation for a Katahdin trailhead is required to enter the Park and climb Katahdin, even if you plan to hike out to Abol Bridge the same day. Utilizing a shuttle service does not bypass the need for a reservation. WE CAN NOT SHUTTLE YOU TO KATAHDIN WITHOUT THE APPROPRIATE BAXTER RESERVATION. Only northbound hikers can enter Baxter and climb Katahdin without a reservation, by hiking in on the AT from Abol Bridge. We ask for this information because it lets us know: 1) You have the necessary reservation for us to shuttle you into the Park. 2) If you may have a pass that can help another hiker get into the Park to start their hike.
